A bodypainting on board, finished in our studio as a fine-art portrait for a lifetime.

About this program

The Masterwork Portrait is our most complete bodypainting experience. It begins on board with a half-day or full-day private bodypainting session, painted in the moment and improvised around the guest. When the painting is finished, we photograph it.

Then the work continues at home in our digital studio. We create a background that grows out of the bodypainting itself, so the figure and the setting read as one image. The result is a finished, high-resolution fine-art portrait like the ones on this page.

Backgrounds like these cannot be built on a ship, which is why we finish them in the studio. The final image is delivered about six weeks after the voyage.

The deliverable is the high-resolution image itself, and only the image. How the guest prints it and displays it at home is entirely up to them. The file is made large enough to print at almost any size: framed on a wall, or printed eight feet tall on reflective metal.
